Elderberry Extract is derived from the fruit of the Sambucus nigra or Black Elder. Active ingredient: anthocyanidins, anthocyanins, anthocyanidin glucoside (cyanidol glucoside), also hydrogen acid (iridoid glucoside), Morrow honeysuckle glucoside (morroniside) and other active ingredients; Elderberry is best known for its anti-viral properties, and elderberry has long been used to boost the immune system. Elderberry Extract is used for its antioxidant activity, to lower cholesterol, to improve vision, to boost the immune system, to improve heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsilitis. Our anthocyanin is processed with wild/cultivated berry fruits by solvent extraction methods.
